Description

The Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ45) is a legendary off-road vehicle that was first introduced in 1960. It was a long-wheelbase version of the FJ40, which was initially developed as a military vehicle for the Japanese government. The FJ45 had a pickup truck-style bed and was available in several different configurations, including a cab and chassis, a traditional pickup truck, and a station wagon.

The FJ45 was known for its ruggedness and durability, making it a popular choice for off-road enthusiasts and as a work truck in remote areas. It was powered by a 3.9-liter inline-six engine, which produced 125 horsepower and 209 lb-ft of torque. The FJ45 had a four-speed manual transmission and a part-time four-wheel drive system with a two-speed transfer case.

Over the years, the FJ45 underwent several changes and upgrades, including a switch to a more powerful 4.2-liter engine in the mid-1970s. Production of the FJ45 continued until 1984, when it was replaced by the FJ70 series. Despite its discontinuation, the FJ45 remains a highly sought-after classic vehicle among off-road enthusiasts and collectors.
