Description
The 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT3 is a race car designed and developed for GT3 class racing. It features a lightweight aluminum spaceframe, a 6.3-liter V8 engine producing 550 horsepower, and a six-speed sequential gearbox. The car has had numerous successful outings in various GT3 racing series around the world, including the Blancpain GT Series, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the Pirelli World Challenge. In 2019, a special edition of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 was released in collaboration with luxury watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, featuring a unique design and special features inspired by IWC’s Pilot’s Watch collection.
