Description
The Peugeot 405 is a mid-size car produced by the French automaker Peugeot from 1987 to 1997. It was designed by Pininfarina and became one of Peugeot’s most popular models, with over 2.5 million units produced. The 405 was available in sedan, wagon, and coupe body styles, and was known for its comfortable ride and handling. The 405 also had a successful rally career, winning the Dakar Rally in 1989 and 1990. In 1995, production of the 405 was phased out and it was replaced by the Peugeot 406.
