The 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL Race Car is a legendary touring car that was developed by BMW to compete in the European Touring Car Championship. The car featured lightweight body panels and a larger engine than the standard 3.0 CSL, producing up to 440 horsepower. The 3.0 CSL dominated the 1973 season, winning 6 out of 9 races, and went on to win the championship in 1975 and 1976 as well. The car also competed in endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it achieved a class win in 1973.
