The Ford Capri was a fastback coupĂ© introduced in 1968 by Ford of Europe. It was designed to be an affordable sports car and was marketed as “The car you always promised yourself”. The 1970 model year saw the introduction of the Ford Capri Mk1 facelift, which included a new front grille, dashboard, and rear lights. The Capri was available with a range of engines, including the Essex V4 and V6 engines and the Cologne V6 engine. The Capri was popular with European buyers and was eventually discontinued in 1986 after selling over 1.8 million units. It has since become a cult classic and is highly sought after by car enthusiasts.
