The Mazda Cosmo Sport was a two-door sports coupe produced by Mazda from 1967 to 1972. It was the first production car to feature Mazda’s rotary engine technology and was initially only available in Japan. The Cosmo Sport was powered by a 1.0-liter twin-rotor engine that produced 110 horsepower and had a top speed of 115 miles per hour. It also featured a four-wheel independent suspension system, a lightweight body, and a sleek design that won it several design awards.
