I’ve been collecting die-casts of all sizes since the first hand-me-downs and stocking stuffers I received as a kid during the holidays. Who knew that this would turn into a lifelong obsession!
I’ve always been a huge fan of sports cars and rally racing, and my favorite models have always been 1:18 scale. Each of the cars in my personal collection have a reason, season, and acquisition story to go along with them. I’ve never been interested the standard Camaro, ‘Cuda and Mustangs, and you won’t find many of those on the shelves here either. Like our podcast Break/Fix, “Everyone has a Story,” and that applies to each of the cars curated here at Diecast Marketplace: Each of them have a story.
When you look around the site, know that we started this not as a business to resell die-casts, but so that friends and members of GTM could help answer the simple question, “Hey! Do you already have this one?”
But… in order to keep our significant others happy, sometimes we have to thin out the stockpile and hope that they go to a good home, and that’s what we’ve done here. You get an inside view into our collection, and if there’s something you need or want for yours, we’re more than happy to oblige. We also hope that as you browse, you also learn something about why these vehicles are cool, unique, or have made an impact on the automotive landscape.
