Description

The Chevy Nova was introduced in 1962 as a compact car designed to compete with the Ford Falcon and Plymouth Valiant. The 1965 Chevy Nova was the second generation of the model and featured a completely restyled body with a longer wheelbase and a more powerful engine lineup, including the 327 cubic inch V8 engine.

The 1965 Chevy Nova was available in two-door coupe and four-door sedan body styles. It was also offered in three trim levels: the base model, the Nova SS, and the Nova II. The Nova II was the highest trim level and featured a more powerful engine and a more luxurious interior.

In 1965, the Nova was also available with an optional Super Sport (SS) package, which included a more powerful engine, heavy-duty suspension, and special trim. The most powerful engine option was the 327 cubic inch V8, which produced 350 horsepower.

The Chevy Nova was a popular car among drag racers and was used in many drag racing competitions. The car was also featured in several movies and TV shows, including the popular TV series “My Three Sons.”
