Description
The Lincoln Futura-based Batmobile was created for the 1966 Batman TV series. It was designed by George Barris and featured a futuristic design with a sleek black body and numerous gadgets, such as a Batphone, Batcomputer, and a Bat-scope. The car was powered by a 390 cubic inch V8 engine and had a top speed of around 140 mph. After the show ended, the Batmobile was sold to a private collector and later auctioned off in 2013 for $4.62 million.
