The Audi Avus Quattro was a concept car that debuted at the 1991 Tokyo Motor Show. The car was designed to showcase Audi’s technological capabilities and was named after the Avus Speedway in Berlin. It featured a futuristic, aerodynamic body made from aluminum and carbon fiber, and was powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine that produced 509 horsepower. The Avus Quattro also had advanced features such as four-wheel drive, active suspension, and a six-speed manual transmission. The car never went into production, but it did inspire Audi’s design language for years to come.
