Description
The 1970 Ford Escort RS1600 was a high-performance version of the Escort Mark I, developed by Ford’s Advanced Vehicle Operations (AVO) division. It was powered by a 1.6-liter Cosworth BDA engine that produced 120 horsepower, which was paired with a four-speed manual gearbox. The RS1600 also featured upgraded suspension and brakes, as well as wider wheels and tires.
