Description
The Porsche 914/6 GT was a limited production racing variant of the 914 sports car produced by Porsche between 1970 and 1972. It featured a modified chassis with a widened rear track, reinforced suspension, and a lightweight body made of fiberglass and plastic. The 914/6 GT was powered by a 2.0-liter, six-cylinder engine that produced 210 horsepower and was paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The car was successful in endurance racing, winning its class at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans and finishing first in class at the 1971 12 Hours of Sebring. Only 336 examples of the 914/6 GT were produced.
