Description
The Volkswagen Type 34 Karmann Ghia was a two-door sports coupe produced from 1961 to 1969 by the German automaker Volkswagen. It was a variation of the Type 14 Karmann Ghia, but with a longer wheelbase, larger engine, and a more luxurious interior. The Type 34 was also known as the “Razor Edge” Karmann Ghia due to its sharp, angular styling. It was powered by a range of engines, including a 1.5-liter flat-four, a 1.6-liter flat-four, and a 1.8-liter flat-four. The Type 34 was not as successful as the Type 14, and only around 42,500 were produced during its production run. However, it has since become a sought-after collectible for classic car enthusiasts.
