Description
The Volvo 850 was a mid-size luxury car produced by Swedish automaker Volvo between 1991 and 1997. It was Volvo’s first front-wheel-drive car and was available as a sedan or station wagon. The 850 was known for its safety features, including side-impact protection and a reinforced roof. It was also the first car to feature a side airbag, which became standard in later years. The 850 was powered by a range of engines, including a turbocharged 5-cylinder engine that produced up to 250 horsepower. The 850 was succeeded by the Volvo S70 and V70 in 1997.
